Blog Called "A Blow for Liberty"; Poll Results Point to High Popularity

We are always pleased to hear from our readers, so it was a nice surprise when one of them wrote the following in a e-mail to us:
I have heard a much higher level of knowledge and understanding of the ASC situation being articulated by many. The blog is a blow for liberty.
This tells us we are achieving one of our key goals. Alfred State College president Uma Gupta has been been immensely successful in dividing and isolating people from each other in her time here at Alfred. Her use of fear, intimidation, deception and division has kept most faculty, staff and students from gaining a true understanding of the depth of the problems she has caused for this college.

It sounds like our humble effort is helping break down some of the walls Gupta has erected around us.

Thanks to all of our readers who responded to the poll we posted. Our question was "How useful to you find this blog to be for communicating about issues at Alfred State College?"

Of the 51 responses, almost 73% found the blog extremely useful, almost 14% found it moderately useful, and just under 2% (1 person) found it slightly useful.

A few people found us to be useless -- just under 2% (1 person) said we were moderately useless and just under 10% that we were extremely useless. Interestingly, the five votes that said we were extremely useless came in at roughly the same time on the same day.

Were those five votes the president's cabinet checking into the blog? We're just speculating -- we don't know (and don't want to know) who voted.

We'll be putting up other polls on a regular basis, so let us know how you feel.
